Was sonst so läuft

Das war meine erste Bergwanderung nach meiner Knieoperation Anfang November 2025. Wir sind etwa zwei Stunden und gut 200 Höhenmeter bergauf (und natürlich auch wieder bergab) gewandert. Es war überhaupt kein Problem – keine Schmerzen! (Nur ein leichtes Spannungsgefühl, besonders im rechten Knie.) Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir starteten in Höhi bei Grabser Voralp, wanderten hinauf zu den kleinen Alphütten von Herti und dann hinunter nach Voralp, wo wir uns mit Kaffee und einem feinen Strudel verwöhnten. Anschliessend ging es zurück nach Höhi, wo wir unser Auto geparkt hatten. Hier ein paar Eindrücke davon:  

This was the first hike up in the mountains after the Operation of both of my knees beginning of November 2025. Walking for about 2 hours and a bit more than 200 Meters uphill (and of course down again...). Was no problem at all - no pain! (just kind of tight feeling especially in my right knee).  We really enjoyed it. Started at "Höhi" near Grabser Voralp, walked up to the small alpine huts of "Herti", then down to Voralp, where we spoiled us with Coffe and a sweet "Strudel". Then back to Höhi, where we had parked our car. Here the impressions:  

 Update to Buchs September 2025   The Buchs government is trying to grow the City (yes, it is a city since it has more than 10'000 people living here) as much as possible. North of the Railway station there were some kind of "sheds" for logistic companies and other. Most of that is pulled down and right now there is in the making "Rhein City" with 30 condominiums and 140(!) flats, see:. rheincity https://www.ch/  And on the other side of the railway station just aside of the Agrola Petrolstation a new Office building is in the make. In a year from now the whole Hilti IT will be moved from the HIBAG building into this new building! The existing building is sold and our former colleagues are looking forward to move in! Then, also in that Aarea (there was kind of a funny parking lot and a Turkish shop in a very old wooden building and also kind of a strange restaurant) just across of HIBAG: all pulled down and started a couple of months ago the so called "Buch...

Wieder ein paar schöne Hüüslitage vom 10. bis14. August 2025. Da ich mit dem Öffentlichen Verkehr angereist bin, musste ich vom Dorf Siat rund eine halbe Stunde mit "Vollpackung" heraufsteissen. Ich habe es trotz Knieschmerzen gut geschafft (aufwärts geht besser als abwärts). Nachdem die wichtigsten Anfangs-Arbeiten erledigt sind (Brünneli richtig zum Laufen bringen; Blache aufhängen; Aussenkochstelle in Betrieb nehmen und schon mal heisses Wasser kochen und Tee zubereiten) ist Kaffeepause angesagt. Anschliessend eine kurze Runde in das nahe Pilzgebiet. Heute 10. September ist der letzte Tag der Schonzeit (jeweils vom 1. bis 10 des Monats), also nur schauen. Die Eierschwämme sind halt schon ziemlich "hinüber", aber eine feine Mahlzeit gibt es schon noch. Dieser Parasol wird ein Leckerbissen, muss aber bald gepflückt werden.
