A few days on my own in the Log Cabin mid September 2024
At the cabin September 2024 Sept. 19th through 23rd I was on my own in the cabin. The weather was fine, though quite fresh, in the evening it was mostly 8 degrees Celsius. This is no problem, I have plenty of wood, ready to heat the oven. Since I recently had to have a piece of skin and flesh cut out on my upper left back (black skin cancer), I had to take it steady. This means no woodwork and no (or only very little) grass cutting. This means, it were really relaxing days. I took a book with me, which was a present of our friend Dave from Cornwal. The book is about the story of laying the first transatlantic telegraph cable: "The Cable That Changed The World". Of course I cooked nice meals and enjoyed the days.
